I would submit, sir, that you don't get it. You're assuming that the purpose of these posts is to get to some irreducible truth through the discussion of issues. It's not. It's about righteous burns and flaming people in forums.
When we pushed forward to take 49- and 25s a few months ago we got the, "you're idiots for opening another front" from the forums. Just last week when we took the boot to MC et al. we got the same thing, "opening another front in PB is BoB strategic genius at work".
Whether its about "losing allies" (notice how before they were pets and now they're allies), Goon sieging undefended POSes and calling it PvPing, or forum trolls trolling about other trolls, this isn't about arguing the facts.
This war isn't about forums, it's not about regions, and it's not about strategic genius, it's about timezones and how many people you have fighting in which ones. The greatest strength of the RCF isn't it's numbers or its ship count, it's the timezone coverage you get out of that alliances - RA covered Central Asia, Tau Ceti covered Euro, Goon NA. The more people they can throw at the Euro and US TZ, the less they have to worry about the Asiatic (good thing seeing as RA seem to have better things to do with their time these days).
Everything you read in here is just about playing forum grab-ass and getting in the odd righteous burns. At one point in time it was maybe possible to induce a morale effect, but I don't think that's really possible now that the real conversations on these issues have moved to a heavily moderated off-Eve-O forum system at SHC.
And I now turn the proceedings over to the Goon, COAD posting corp member, or irrelevant-alliance guy who will post some witty and scathing one-liner...
